PTAC - Procurement Technical Assistance Centers Cattaraugus County, NY

Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTAC) help businesses compete successfully in the government contracting marketplace. They advise businesses on bid reviews, marketing strategy, small business designations, and contract performance. PTACs also provide access to bid opportunities and offer procurement training classes and seminars. They were created by the Procurement Technical Assistance Program, which was authorized by Congress in 1985 in order to increase the number of businesses capable of contracting with the government. The program is administered by the Defense Logistics Agency of the Department of Defense.
